When is a cdl needed for non commercial driving

CDL needed for 26001 lbs. and up or anytime you are hauling for money.

26000 lbs and under no cdl required.

If you register it as an RV (used for pulling a 5 wheel or trailer you are exempt from CDL requirements as well.

Talk to an RV dealer if you need more info.

Kinda bummed was trying to figure out info on the trailer and found original sale add from 2005

Looks like the top bid when the auction closed was 1850$

The good news/bad news is it was flooded in 97 motor was replaced tranny and axles rebuilt

Thought about a tent trailer or camper on the tounge but it would limit turning radius even more!

it doesn't look like that will be to big of a problem, the right tent trailer you probably will be fine.

only reason i can think of is the speed limit with a trailer of a whopping maximum of 55mph....

Thanks me too it hauls like a dream the trailer has air ride suspension also .. Just wish it got more mpg but for the $$ we saved vs a diesel pickup and gooseneck trailer we can buy alot of gas

what kind of mileage did you get? and I think there is a company that sells pods that would fit on the tongue and look great... extreme4x4 did a custom trailer with the pod I am talking about... its nothing more then a tent trailer without the axle. the door would fit on the the side where the buggies are so once you unloaded you just put up the ladder to the door...

Just went and filled it up after going to snakes , hitting governor most the way home (67 mph) and it got 5 but we are into it right around 5,000 so I can deal with that for awhile (I'm only into it 1500 my girlfriend is amazing )

insurance is 20$ a month

They killed maddies registering it made her register as 32000 big truck 240$ plus other fees came to $322.75. And that's with the sales tax being on $100 purchase price
