Where can I buy Tubing DOM or welded seam

I need to know where I can pick up some tubing?? I went to Boman & Kemp this morning and all they have is schedule 40...I need about a foot of 2 1/2" .250 wall and about a foot of 2" .250 wall. I live in Ogden at WSU. I can go to salt lake if needed. Thanks

I think Marmon Keystone is the only one that sells DOM.

Try Mcnees interprises.

Metal Supermarket should have it. Off of 1700 S just west of I-15. I doubt Mcnees will have that size.

I know you can't get DOM in ogden. you can get schedule pipe at boman kemp but not HREW or DOM.

I used to work for somewhere for 5 years (no comment)
and they had an account and bought more tube than i buy now but i buy cheaper than they do and they used to try to charge me like three bucks a foot....yah.....
I'm curious--what would you pay a foot for 1-3/4 120wall
how about shedule 40 a foot

I wonder why there are no metal yards around Ogden that sell DOM or HREW?? Back in AZ there were tons and they would all sell it in foot lengths? weird..... where are some of these places? Like McNees Rocklogic and Factory Tubular?? thanks

Ogden might have something out there but nothing that I know of. There are no real car builders or wheelers in ogden to speak of. Imagine the ogden residents on this board X2 and you have the sum total of rockcrawlers in ogden!! there are few. The majority of metal companies in Ogden are for structural steel. The literally give you the "DUH" look when you ask them about DOM, They have no idea what it is or what it means!

yeah, I got that look this morning at Bomans. the guy was all like "we carry schedule 40, check the plumbing supply store for DOM" plumbing supply??? yeah.
