Where can I find a inexpensive Jerry Can?

Looking to find at least a 20L Jerry can for a decent price locally in anticipation of the Utah backcountry discovery trip.

Anyone know of some good places that carry them for about 30-40 bucks?

I guess I dont "really" need one, I would think a regular plastic one would work? I have never owned a jerry can, so don't know if they are worth it or if the plastic kind will suffice. I would say the jerry can would be worth it for any future outings...being metal and all, so I guess I just answered my own question! :D

Ideas and thoughts from others are always good though.

Thanks.

I'd recommend the plastic "liquid containers", or "utility cans" that the dirt bike guys use. They can't call them "fuel containers" or the EPA will freak out because they don't have that stupid safety valve that the new gas cans have. For cheap, you can't beat these.

My local Smiths Marketplace sells them. Any ATV/MC store will have them. Plastic is so much nicer than metal.

These are cool too. I think Herzog has one of these:

Thanks Steve. I like the square racing "utility Jug" look/price better then the "fuel pack utility jug" ;)

Fair price as well for the 5 gallon.

I have a newer jerry can and I hate it. Too heavy and the safety valve thing sucks. Next time Im gonna use two 2.5gal plastic containers. Easier to fill .
I did end up breaking the safetyvale off but still hate it. but it looks cool I guess.
