I have seen them but can't remember where. I need to cut some wood floor next to some cabinets and can't think of any other way to get into the tight spot.

I've got a die grinder with a 3" wood blade on it that does a sweet job. Plus, it's small enough to fit under the toe kick area at the front of the cabinet. You know where I am if you'd like to borrow it.

Home Depot rents a toe kick saw that has a countersunk screw in the blade so it cuts flush. And it fits under the toe kick area of the cabinet. It looks like this:

When would you need to cut under a toe-kick? Obviously there's a valid reason for it, since there's a tool to do it, I just can't think of any time anyone would need to do that???

Damnit! This post didn't show up when I hit new posts earlier so I didn't get to see all that good stuff. I went the route I shouldn't have and paid for it. If the cord hadn't got wrapped up in the grinder it wouldn't have bound it up and stopped making for some more damage.

There is a reason I usually stick to doing things with metal. I get hurt alot less.
