I have been kicking around a few ideas for my build and seemed to have settled on replacing my tub. I really want an LJ tub but have no idea where to start looking. Any ideas?

TIA,
Marcus

Other than junkyards?

Well, other than Jeep-specific specialty yards (like Olympic in WA, or.. ahh.. that place in Phoenix, name I can't remember), or scouring the regular yards, there are those really expensive new tub manufacturers like Aqualu etc...

Or, KSL for wrecked jeeps-- auctions, too.

I was going to mention Davey's as well, but they're a ways off...

I might be able to arrange shipping from Olympic if you find something... friend of mine comes down from Port Orchard now and again...

There is some kind of Jeep Only wrecking yard in Denver, can't recall the name off the top of my head. Look them up, I'm sure you will find them and they probably have what you're looking for.

BIG thanks! I talked to them today and they were out of tubs. They said they could get me a clean LJ tub for 1500-1800.

I will check into that

The TearAPart on Redwood has a YJ and a TJ that had tubs last weekend.

really, is that the one on redwood? have to swing by there.

I went out and measured a couple of LJs and TJs at my work today, and it looks like the LJ will work perfectly. I can run my tires at 112" and not have to comp cut! Plus, I really miss Jenns LJ and would like to build another one:cool:
