Looking for some 4x8' sheets of slatwall. I'm using pegboard in some other areas but in my office it would be nice to be able to put up shelving and such?

Know where I can buy it locally?

This is slatwall fwiw:

Find the right router bit and go crazy on some plywood.

That's a great idea. It would look awesome if the grooves were further apart too. Unless that messes up the function.
Wouldn't MDF work better than ply though? MDF isn't too expensive either.

I don't think the distance apart would mess anything up. they usually hook on just on the top anyway, so you only need one groove to hang something.

MDF would work mo better, much mo better.

Let me know if you need to borrow a router.

The spacing of the grooves affects how many hooks you can put on the wall. Ideally you would want the grooves to be spaced slightly further apart than the height of the product you're hanging. That way each row will hang just slightly below the bottom of the row above it.

If you only had one groove, you could only hange one rown of product.

I meant each hangar only needed one groove so it wouldn't matter if you spaced them a little further apart. Did seem a little confusing.

I still may need some for future projects, If that's the case I may try and make some. I have a grundle of peg board hooks so that is a major factor in my decision too.

Your peg board hooks should also work in slat wall. ;)

...as long as you don't hang much weight from them. They'll break out a little chunk of the flange, since they don't distribute the pressure over as much area of MDF. :(
