I'm new to the area, just moved to Kamas from Folsom Ca. for a bridge job. I'm bringing my crawler in a few weeks hoping that the snow is gonna be melting soon :/ I know that Moab isn't too far away and was wondering if there is a trail system close by that would be fun in a rig that is built for Fordyce and the Rubicon?

There are some mellower scenic trails in the mountains above Kamas, but nothing like Fordyce or the Rubicon. There are also some more buggy friendly trails west of SLC, Delta, Price, and St. George.

Welcome to Utah.

90% of the local trails are under snow usually until late May or early June, but many of us hit Moab between March and May. Moab gets too hot for some of us to enjoy it between late June and early September, but that is prime time for the local mountain trails and camping.
