Which .223 to buy?

All I can say is that on average Minis have been some of the least accurate rifles I've ever messed with. Most I've worked with like 2 MOA, some even worse. True spray and pray.

I dunno man, The A-Team kicked a ton of ass with Ruger Minis back in the day... Then again, no one died or bled on that show...

I vote for an AR or a bolt action. I've always heard the minis were junk, but never owned one.

I've experienced the same thing with every mini14 I've ever owned/shot. Probably even less accurate than an SKS:eek:

Aren't the newer mini 14s supposed to be much better accuracy wise then the old ones? I thought they changed the barrel or something.

If we are talking about non-apocalyptic hunting, I would go for the 243. If we are talking about survival after the apocalypse, then a 223 would do the job so long as you plan on head shots.

I love the fact that everyone is all up on thinking that a .223 is the gun to have when everything goes to pot.. I'll get some really good money for my ar15 when I go to sell it :)

I don't know what to tell you Steve, if I had the need for a semi auto rifle it would have to be a AR15.. That being said when it all goes down it will be me and a .22 buckmark with a 14" barrel and a savage mark II rifle with a high powered scope and several thousand rounds of ammo. When the need comes time to need a .223 I'll pop some moron that thought he needed the .223 in the head and take his. I'd sell you my AR if you wanted it but it is very high end, built for 3 gun type stuff that I built to beat Glockmans dad and then missed the shoot and never used it much.
