Jeep Which Fuel Sending Unit?

I recently had a fuel cell installed in my 4door wrangler, and I am having some issues with our decision to use the stock fuel pump/sending unit. I want to replace it with a seperate exterior pump and a simple fuel sending unit that will work with the stock fuel guage.

How do I make the correct match to the guage?
What considerations should I make when comparing fuel pumps?
What are the things I might be missing/not considering?

This is for a fuel cell that I intend to use to race some offroad races with, so any considerations I consider valid.

If it's the same sending unit and pump as the 4.0 engines, stock gauge takes a sending unit that needs to be 0-90 ohms, fuel pump needs to be at least 41 psi. I have a fuel pump for sale that is 43 psi I'd sell to you if interested, probably only had 20 gallons ran through it before I tore down my crawler to build another.

Interesting question, I don't know either way if its the same pump/sender combo. I am having trouble finding defiinitive answers though.
I'll have to look into that.
