In talking with a few friends online we were trying to decide which is a steeper obstacle.
A- Launchpad on Golden Spike
B- You Gotta Be Nuts at Sand Hollow

I've never done anything at Sand Hollow, but I think B is steeper. Pics and video welcome.

How does it compare to The Wall Next To The Obstacle Formerly Known As Dump Bump?

Dump Bump closed when I was a wee lad. Not sure. It's probably close to as steep as the wall on Poison Spider? Videos below for reference. Not apples to apples because of different camera angles and I had stickies going up You've Gotta Be Nuts.

Here's Launch Pad. I can't remember if this was 2wd or not. We had just watched a G-Wagen jump over the top because the driver (probably new) panicked and totally gunned it. I tried to do the same, but wasn't successful catching air.

YGBN is definitely steeper. But it is also longer, and the pitch changes throughout, which can be scary. I had a super scary moment on it last week. It was quite sandy, and my line was pitching to the right. As I was correcting, it grabbed and pitched me far driver in a fraction of a second, and it got wild real quick - passenger tire in the air and everything. Slammed it in reverse, and all was well. I put it back into first, and did it again with no issues. None of that has anything to do with Launchpad, but just saying, YGBN is no joke.

The Launch Pad can be crawled. I've always had to have some commitment, momentum, and controlled tire spin to head up YGBN. It's one of my favorite climbs at Sand Hollow.
