Which midsize truck to buy?

Well, I'm not too serious as I love the truck & it's very fun/handy. The thing is, I drive nearly 700 miles every week for just work. I have been thinking about buying a cheap car for gas mileage. So that's the logic behind the idea.

But, let's entertain each other... :)

It's a 2001 V6, 5 Speed, Ext Cab, 4x4 w/ the TRD pkg & 95k miles. The body is in good shape, but the bed has been used pretty hard (dents, primer showing, etc). It has A/C, CD player, Power windows & locks.

I bought an extended warrenty, so it's still covered. Also, the wty *is* transferable.

I just put brand new BFG Long Trail tires on, 265/75/16's. They're the factory replacement. They have road hazard, lifetime balance, etc. I run semi-synthetic Valvoline oil & recently did a tuneup with Bosch platinum plugs.

Thanks for the info, and it sounds like a nice truck...........but I need/want less miles and would prefer a different color. I'm basically going to be working out of this rig so I still need to make some decisions about the size of vehicle I need too. Right now I'm using a ZJ and it sucks trying to fit everything in the back (with the rear seats removed and down). But for entertainment purposes thanks for the info :D

No prob, good luck finding the vehicle you need!

If a Taco can't tow enough or isn't large enough, I'd 2nd an older Tundra... I was looking at them just before I bought the Taco.

Even funnier........read my first post. $18k is the budget, not what I was saying your truck is worth.
