for what you are explaining you want to do with your new rig i'm thinking the 35s is where you are going wrong. heavy and completely unnecessary for what you need. dont get me wrong cause i think its a great size of tire. i run them. i have yet to see a "serious" expedition rig with bigger than 33s. start thinking of what you'd need if you drove from here to the southern tip of Baja. gas milage! 31s will get you through hell revenge and rattle snake. 33s are a compromise. if you go 35s i'll bet you sell if with in 6 months of you first adventure. beside once you put 35s on there then comes all the rock crawling components. everything needs to be upgraded. my vote is taco 4.88s 285s light body armor. cheap simple and goes forever

I picked up spork's reg cab tacoma tonight. It'll be a great all-around rig. I'll put 33's on the 100 series for the expeditions, and we'll see where this reg cab ends up. Probably 35's for messing around on the weekends/rockcrawling. I had 35's on my last tacoma and I loved 'em. We'll see what happens. I'm just happy to have two rigs that can handle dirt roads.

that's a given, no matter what rig or tire size I have. Predicting I"ll sell a rig in 6 months is like predicting that it'll rain at least once in the year 2012 :D

I've only sold one rig after one adventure. Most are 5-10 adventures between rigs.
