I LOVE baseball to play. However, it's pretty annoying to watch. (it actually does take some athletic ability to throw a baseball accurately 100-120 times or hit said baseball--there's a bigger mental element to the GAME, though. Not like other sports where you know what's going to happen. It's all about probability and likelihood of something happening and fighting to pay attention until something does happen in your area of responsibility)

I'm not taking away from the incredible amount of skill that is required to hit or throw a 100 mph baseball. I'm also not saying I could do it, or that there aren't any athletes that play the game. But if you consider baseball a sport, then I challenge you to find me a definition of "sport" that includes baseball, but does not include bowling, darts, chess, golf, croquet, shuffleboard, or any other activity that most people would generally not consider a sport.

We should just start up a new thread about this. I'm resolved to not ever know the truth behind the mysterious battery incident.
