White rim trail in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. March 7th and 8th 2016.

Here are a few pics of my two day trip through Canyonlands' Island in the sky district via The White Rim trail. Its a 100 mile long trail with amazing views the entire way. I stayed overnight at Candlestick campground. The trail conditions were perfect. It snowed and rained the evening before I started the trail, so dust was not and issue. The snow and mud also made the Shafer trail switchbacks more interesting.

Nice pics, love taking a 4x4 over the White Rim! When we did it, there was a LOT of snow on Murphy's Hogback and it rained for most of the 2nd day.... and I loved it!

Welcome , and great report. Not many people dare to venture out on a trail like that by themselves. Consider yourself one of the brave.

I did the trail twice last year in my old Dodge. The first time was in February, on a Wednesday. I didn't see another person the entire two days. Went back six weeks later with a friend. Here are some pictures from those two trips.
