I'm dying here! I need to get out and go wheelin! Winter needs to come to an end. Where is that awesome spring weather at? :D

Well... as an RME ritual, post up what you have left to do (additions, modification, adjustments, etc...) on your rig to get it back out on the trails this spring.

I'm going to play with my airshox spring rate a little bit, add some removable cargo racks on the back for camping and longer trails, and re-do my front driveline. (going to use a 2-piece line for better clearances).

Who else has the itch?

You know they have creams for that now, right? :D

I don't hink I ever get over my itch. But I just started a 4Runner project that I am hoping is done by spring.

You want more of an itch? Look at some of the BTG trip reports on PBB. I want to go to AZ, bad.

However, I need to finish disassembly of my rig, clean off all the rust  (stupid road salt), paint the chassis, reseal the tranny, and reassemble. Then I'm good to GO!

Yep, I need to wheel. I want to head to Moab soon.

The TJ still needs the new Warn bumper/tire carrier put on and the ARB in the front.

Still need to decide if I'm competing this year, but if I do the buggy needs the ARBs replaced with Detroits, the OBA removed, the cooling system revamped, the brakes revamped, and oh yeah, rear steer added. Just a couple of minor things.

Moab anyone????

Frankly that's kind of a scary list. I'm shooting for lower, easier to attain goals. Like be able to drive it down to get fuel without alerting EVERY officer in Davis County.

Needs
Exhaust (need a smallish 3" muffler on the cheap)
add passenger seat (tonight?)
dash (hopefully sometime this week)
wire up the cooling fan (hopefully sometime this week)
wire up the fuel pump relay (hopefully sometime this week)
LOTS of 'finish' stuff----secure hoses, wiring harnesses, etc.
finish adding fluids to everything

Wants
fender flares (removable :D)
headlight/signals/tail light wiring (basicly just extend the GM wiring to the Jeep stuff)
rear seat
HEATER :D
cover for the gas tank
add my tailgate
all one color paint (quickie--Sand, clean, seal, spray)

Trailworthy
traction bar
front/rear lockers
winch (?)
tie cage to the frame
Add 'rock ring' to my H1 wheels (requires dissassembly and welding--not to bad, but definitely time consuming)

Oh, and a 2" drop hitch would be kinda nice instead of the set of 'straight' ones I have. Anybody wanna trade?

Well I lost the itch since I thought I would never get to go wheeling again since getting married took alot of the extra $$$$$. :D

But i'm hoping to have the samurai back up, and runing soon.

I need to put power steering back on it since the last 50million trys failed. I Believe i got it this time. "I'm meeting hooptycj this weekend to pick up the parts".

But first i got to get it running. I had to dump gas in the carb to get it to start, and it would only run for a sec then die. I just need to replace the filter, and clean the carb i think.

I'd like to put some diffrent leaf springs in the front since i don't trust the stock samurais with 35's and toyota axles

I really want to get out and meet more of you guy's. put some faces to the names. :D

just gotta get my new(old, stock) springs under the samurai and some shackles so I can clear 33's better. or else I'll have to go back to the 31's and I guess I'll probably have to charge the battery. oh and I guess the last thing I need is a trailer.

I Sold the 1 ton's from under my jimmy and bought a K30. I only need a lift, Front springs, rear shackle flip. Drag link and tie rod, already have hysteer arm and 2wd box tapped and ready to go for hydro assist.(Can anyone cut me a 1" hole in a piece of 1/2" steel PM me if you can.) Possibly a locker in the 60, weld the 14, bob the bed and fix some electical stuff. It's not really that much, I just need to find the time to do it.

Interesting. I am itching quite badly, having spent a while with no wheelable rig whatsoever. So here's the list of stuff to do:

Blazer:
needs:
new wheel bearing up front before the rim falls off. Thank you DSPO, awesome maintenance.
Cut fenders a little
That's it. It's stock, but it is ready to go.
wants:
rear calipers and some line for the disc swap
install the 60 and 14bolt (60 needs seals and calipers too)
mount the 35's on the spare rims
2" lift.

Burb (not really a wheeler, but hey)
needs more fender cutting
could use a 700r4

M715 UberTruck:
needs nearly everything. Just a big parts pile right now, and most of those are in PA. So when I get my stuff, I have to:
swap cab to the Rockwell frame
adapt 455 to GM TH400/Doubler
wire
tube out the back to hang the fenders
rig rear steer and a lockout for road use
cage
exhaust
interior
order Stazworks 20's
find decent 46's and get them here

ugh.

oh yeah, if anyone needs a winch whore/rock stacker/ copilot (on the way down I mean), I do not work at a regular job when I'm home and am available nearly any time.
