hmmm.....

put new(er) toyota rear springs in front
chevy's in back
re-mount front shock towers with better welding, more supports
new fenders, and hood
locker in back
figure out who will pass my 'runner through smog with it's injected 302
new windshield
new starter
...dang, there's more than I thought!...
2 new tires--anybody got any 37X12.50R15's?? (MTR's)(or whatever)
body work...maybe
paint
...I hope that's it!!

(and if nobody will pass smog, I need a trailer)

...but in all reality, with a few welds on the shock towers, I'll be ready to take her out again...to break something else!!

After doing some seat and steering mockups today, I have decided to ditch any thought of a proper top and just run a cage and a tarp or something. The sun was making me crazy.
My wife came home and saw me sitting in a truck with no motor, axles, wheels, interior, or top, in a seat on blocks, holding a beat up old steering wheel and craning my head around looking at imaginary hood corners... and came up and said "ahhhh nice weather making you a little antsy is it?"

heheheh uhhhhh YES

I'd maybe try to kill you if that wasnt' true. :( :(

heheh literally half the parts are in PA. Directions took a radical swing away from the ordinary 60/14bolt, <40" tires when I was offered Rockwells. I figured why not, it's not like I'm building 12 of these trucks. MOOOAHAHAH.

oh, I can't wait to fire that thing up w/no pipes. That is gonna rock.
