I am planning on going to this concert that new album sounds like they are going back to their old school sound and that is very exciting to me I stopped listening when Load came out, but I am looking forward to this new one.

I went to the same concert and it was awesome. I was deaf for about 4 days after but it was worth it.

I've seen METALLICA a bunch of times , last show I saw was the black album. All shows I have been to were AWSOME!!!! METALLICA has been worth the ticket everytime ! Don't think I can make it this time but you will have fun!!!

I have had the new album since the day it was leaked so all last month I have been listening to it and I love it....great guitar work!!!
I did the pre-buy for tickets!! Can't wait I have not missed Metallica since what '89 Salt Palace and The Cult opened. They always put on a good show..Money well spent!!!

Went to the concert last night. Awesome show, sound, lights, pyrotechnics were all great. I am deaf today but in a few days I will be back to normal.
I couldn't believe it, there was a group of about 15 guys (age 17 to 24) sitting in front of us, they did not stand up once, did not bang their head to the music, nothing. They sat there with their F****** cell phones and were texting the whole time. Why spend $75.50 on a ticket and just sit there. I could not believe it. What a bunch of lame asses.

I ended up going. Mostly because I scored a last minute freebie ticket. It was fun, but there's no way in he!! I would have paid $75.50 to see it.

Me neither I wasn't going to go because I am such a cheap ass but then my friend called me and told me he bought me and my wife each one because he owed us some cash for our hotel room in Moab from this years EJS. So I kind of gotta a freebie as well. Party

It was my first Metallica concert.

The Larry Miller Polyester Solutions is the absolute worst sounding venue in the world. I swore that I would never go to another concert there after seeing INXS there 15 years ago. Well, I wanted to to see Metallica so much that I tricked myself into thinking it would be ok. I can honestly say with all the noise in there, I could not even tell what the first 2 songs were. It got better after I lost some hearing, and I did enjoy the show, but never will I pay to enter those doors agian.

That's not completely true. I saw the Greatful Dead there years ago. 14th row on the floor sounded just fine. Tom petty on the other hand sounded like shat in the upper bowl.

Metalica at the E center sounded really good. I was deaf for a week but it was worth it

I was sitting third row upper bowl Monday night and thought the sound was a 100% better than when I sat in similiar seats for Van Halen a couple of years ago.

Great show btw, good friends, finally getting my hearing back...

That's what I was going to say. I had some friends almost at the very top and they said it was a little bad.

I was down pretty low and it sounded great where I was.
