i need someone to buy my car so i can pick up a cheap xj or zj and do as much as i can to it with the time and money available.
i thought i would be okay missing ejs since i sold my rig after ejs '07, but i think i might die if i don't go.

funny you should ask.
1 finish aluminum side armor and wetsand body
2 powder coat cage, rockers, gas tank, gas skid, tube fenders, shifter box rear axle and links.
3 modify t case shift boot.
4 buy 5 point harnesses.
5 disasemble rig.
6 take body to paint.
7 paint new half of frame.
8 paint engine cage.
9 install new toque converter.
10 install new winch
11 take body to bedliner.
12 install fuel filler
13 reasemble entire rig.
14 adjust and fill coil-overs.
15 reconnect wiring.
16 Take to exhaust shop for new system.
17 take on test run.

What do you guys think, am I attempting the impossible?

I think you can do it Spidey, get er done. I wish that's all I had to do. I just heard from Advanced Adapters they are out of the 27 spline input shaft I need for my 700r4. Should have it in next week some time. That puts me behind another week which puts EJS out of my range. :-\

Oh well, it was a good effort. I'll be finished by Memorial Day.

bart!! don't give up. Call Eric at Novak in logan I'm sure he has a 27 spline for your tranny. They had one in stock for my 4L60-E. You've got plenty of time.

My tranny already has a 27 spline output, its Advanced Adapters that ran out of the 27 input gear, the day I paid. :-\ I'm not giving up but it's not likely. Lot's to do. Kyle finally felt a bit better this weekend and as of Sunday, IT"S A ROLLER. :greg: If the t-case comes in this week I should have it home by Sunday. To get it to Moab would take a miracle. It will need

Seats mounted
strip and paint chassis
reassemble
have reverse manual valve body installed in tranny
build console and mount Art Carr
motor wired
chassis wired
fuel plumbed
fluids
get motor started
steering mounted and plumbed
drivelines (and pillow block for the front)
brakes plumbed
firewall built
floor built
harnesses
all the little things I'm forgetting....
