Text away! I was only annoyed a little bit back then....just cuz it cost me $.10 per message at that time. I'm feeling better now. :D

I have to admit I don't mind text messaging as much as I used to. When people text message me now I pull over and it only takes me about 2 minutes to return their text message where it used to be around 5 minutes. I only work a mile from home and was talking to a teenager once and had to pull over four times on the way to work...those kids are fast. But I draw the line when I'm sitting in church and look around and all the DK's (da*n kids) are constantly texting one another and/or their friends in the middle of church. I mean come on show a little restraint:rolleyes:. I also not sure which is worse them doing it or their parents letting them...

I just checked the last statement I recieved and it was 4,191 and the month before that was 5,755 :eek: I have sprint as well and my unlimited is $15 a month. Another thing too is I got a few people in Southern Utah and out of State that I text.

I've never understood typing out what you could just as easily speak. I mean hey, it would be like getting on an internet forum and spending hours just typing back and forth with people that you barely even know when you could just pick up the phone and call the same people. How very archaic. :D

I love it! It has made it so much easier to keep family/friends informed at once with my wife's condition. Before I would have to spend hours on the phone almost everynight just calling people with updates. I wasn't to into before Angie's strokes but now there's now way I could do with out.

Monkey is right. txt has many uses. I love it. my kids can send me pix while i am at work. and I get to see what they are doing, even when I can't be there. I recently saw a bill that had used 22,000+ txt.

Another minor note ... the reported math is flawed in that it is comparing download costs with upload costs. With satalite uplink bandwidth is typically less than download. So its likely only say ... 3000%
