Mine isn't the 'best' rig, but it's very versatile. Can do a lot of different things and most things in an 'adequete' capacity. Starting to just find it's limits after 4 years.

Just a thought. For trails and such the platform of a Tj is good because it is small but comfortable and fairly stable. Daily driver; Small, easy to park, reliable, comfortable, etc..
Now the only thing missing is economy in both fields. From all the post I have read here I would ether have to say that a sami with a supercharger or a chev v8 would be the way to go in a Rubicon with coil overs and either 33s with the sami motor or 35+ inch tires with a chev v8. or.... sh!t I don't know all I want is it all for cheep, or ... at least a good deal and not just suply and demand or paying for a name.

Well, I wish my rig was street legal... I think you are asking for too much out of your vehicle. You want it to climb everything off-road, and you want to drive it on road at 100 miles per hour up hills and get 20 MPG doing it. 10 Miles per gallon off-road? That's pretty good! I don't know what I get (don't have an odometer anymore), but I'm sure it's closer to Cody's estimate of 1 MPG...

Well...

It's finally off the jackstands and running and driving and wheeling...

But one problem.. It's only 2 wheel drive because I don't have the front driveshaft connected... It has different gear ratios in both axles..

So mine is the best 2x4 Wheeler! HA HA, top that one!
