Angie is the last few days has finally started talking more on her own!! Plus she is feeding herself snacks/treats and eating well!! In the past she has only be able to say 1-2 words with alot of effort. Now I'm getting told to rub her feet every hour or so. She is still being fed through a tube in her stomach by us. But as she takes in more and more by mouth we'll back the tube feeding off. Angie is also moving around more on her, still hasn't walked in almost a year. Pretty soon I'm going to fab a adult size baby walker for her.

SPECIAL THANKS TO PHATFOTO!! He brought Angie some Thompson Jerky from Erda!! This is her favorite brand of jerky and is quite a bit out of the way for me to get.

OPEN HOUSE:There will be a open house / birthday party for Angie this saturday at her parents house from 4-8pm. 2156 Aspen Ave. RME'rs are more than welcome to stop by and grab a snack and say hi.

oh and she can almost flip me off now.:D

Fantastic news Joe. Let me know if you want a hand with the walker, I'd be glad to help however I can.

For some reason she thinks it 2005 . We have had to deal with funky memory problems in the past with her, so nothing new. I just told her to forget all the dumb stuff that I did. Lucky for her she doesn't remember her family living with us during Christmas of '06. Her spunky side is really starting to show now. Thank goodness she is taking everything very well and is determined to walk again. FYI I was told that (1) she should not of survived stroke #2 and (2) 1 in 10 chances of walking again. But this is Angie and she always throws the curve off.:D

I'm very glad to hear that she's doing better.

Good to hear. Lots of people that we knew here in Boise ask.... my dad included. I try to keep them informed, but this is the best report yet. That is great!
