Dixon said:I'm still plugging away and making progress although it seems slow. I do think it will go faster now that I've got the front axle done and bolted to the frame. I had my parts for the front suspension from Trail Tuff show up this week and I hurried to in stall them since they were all bolt on. I also picked up a used set of YJ springs and sand blasted and painted them this morning. Rebuilding the knuckles went well but for installing some gaskets in the wrong order and having to take one side back apart to straighten things out. Today I had all day to work on the sami, welding the spring perchs on and the shock mounts and getting to the point were I'm at made it a productive day. I looking forward to starting the 4 link in on the rear axle this coming week.
He wants to do his own version of a 4 link on his sami. It seems like a krawler is a never ending project because your always making it better so you can climb over that rock you haven't been able to make yet.Andy said:You are flying through that project, what does your boy think? Looks good.
Where did you get the GM slip yoke to sami flange adapter, and what did it cost?Dixon said:I would like to be done by easter but depends on how demanding work gets. Right now I'm using the sami t case. Its a stand alone unit with a right side off set. I have a GM slip yoke to samurai flange adapter already. This is what I have on the green one and I've never had a problem yet. I'm going to do new bearing and seals and 4 to 1 gears

Maybe you need to get some new advice from someone else....
Well I guess if you say so.... I'm not dissing the mans work just questioning the design. It looks way too tall and I hope it doesn't hit the bottom of his body.Herzog said:I can see how that could all be tied in (with major gussets) and work quite well while retaining adjustability.
