What do you guys do to winterize your rigs for winter storage? Over the next few months my CJ may see a few trips to the store to keep the battery charged but mostly be sitting in the garage. My plan was to add a little gas stabilizer and check the tire pressure on occasion.

In the winter if you are going to run it a bit you should be fine without stabilizer. It is the heat that makes gas go bad while it sits. I start mine up at least once a month and thats about it.

Here's what I'm doing to winterize my crawler:

Remove battery and store on shelf.
Remove tires and discard.
Remove axles and discard.
Remove all suspension components and discard.
Remove bumpers and discard.
Remove fenders and discard.

To summerize it I'll reverse the top five items.

I can only assume by discard you mean donating to my CJ. :)
