With two hours in Moab....

Next Thursday I have to make the drive to Moab for a quick bit of business (relating to a conference we have planed there in June.)

I hope to have an hour or two to hit a trail while there (in the Montero).

If you only had time for one quick trail, what would you run?

(and anyone going to be down that way that may want to join me?)

Fins and Things. Very close to town. Has a little bit of everything. Good scenery too. Can either do the N half or the S half if pressed for time. Has bypasses if you don't want to do the toughest climbs along either side.

Long canyon up through the switchbacks into Canyonlands, then back down Dead Horse Point Road and home. Not challenging, but way cool scenery.

I will throw my vote in for Fins 'N Things! Great trail with a little difficulty if you want it to be, close to town, and if you are done early you could always hit part of Hell's Revenge.
Enjoy Moab!!

Lots of fun suggestions. I have done Hurrah Pass, Chicken Corners and Gemini Bridges on previous short trips, all fun little runs.

I was thinking Fins or Hells Revenge as well. I have ran part of Fins & Things a few years ago before being forced off by a dust storm, so finishing it would be fun. Have riden Hells a couple of times, but yet to drive it.

I think my MS is probably up to it (I have run Kane Creek and Poison Spider). Certainly want to give it a go. but would much prefer to do so with another rig who knows the trail better than I.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Anyone going to be down that way?
