Have a 01 jeep grand cherokee wj 4.0 auto
It developed cyl 5 and 6 misfires and as I was replacing the plugs the tv cable tb clip broke off.
(Didn't fix the misfire so replacing injectors and coils)
As I searched the web for a replacement I found these have adjustment issues.
When I got this I noticed it dosen't downshift very well, especially on hills.
So figured it could be related to that but there are two different types of tv cable adjusters (for different transmissions?) and im finding the one with a push button adjusts downshifting and the clip style adjusts shift points.
Is that about right???
I found a guy that makes a replacement plastic clip for the cable but was curious what other people think the downshift issue could be because I'm not sure its the tv cable adjustment and very confused on how to adjust it to a factory setting.
