I'm looking at getting some new boots for work and I'm wondering what you guys have found to be good long lasting comfortable boots. I have had danners before but would like to try something different. Have heard wesco's are amazing but there price is pretty steep. Also heard Georgia boots are good as well.

I go through work boots like crazy, the ones I have had the best luck with is Chipewwa boots and Double H. I have had just about every popular brand of boots. I also prefer the logger style because they seem to last the best.
Georgia boots aren't too bad for the money, but they seem to fall apart the quickest.

I have a pair of steel toe CAT's. They have lasted a while, are very comfortable, and I can't tell the steel toe is there. I don't know what expensive for work boots is but they wereoriginally somewhere around $150 but got them for $60 at Nordstrom Rack.

I guess it depend on what type of work you use them for. I've always been very happy with Georgia's but my job isn't horribly demanding on boots either. I have over 5 years on my pair of Georgia Renegades at home and they are still going strong. My work boots are Georgia's Diamond Trax. They probably aren't that great for construction/outdoor use, but they are awesome for my work environment which is walking on flat concrete all day and spending time in wash down areas.

Money wise boots are like mattresses, tires and car batteries. Buy once--cry once and save now--regret later lol :D

My cats have lasted forever... but the traction blows. Red wings are what I wear when the weather turns and much more comfortable.

Can't go wrong with Redwings, although I wear bates Combat boots everyday and they are pretty cozy even with a steel toe.
