Worst "Build" I've Seen in a Long Time

I was perusing the Nissan Pathfinder Off-Road Association forum tonight, which is generally populated with folks quite a bit more amateur than the folks here on RME, but then I saw this:

And thought that I needed to share it with everyone over here. Holy hell is that bad in the most horrible/hilarious way. The full thread is here: http://npora.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=29663&st=0.

Wow, there are a bunch of nuts over there...

There's another guy that posted about the cage that he just finished: " I just finished my interior cage, 2" .250 wall DOM Tubing"

Can you even bend 2" .250 wall DOM tube, with any consumer-grade bender? I don't think my JD2 would. Not that I would build a cage out of that anyway...

He mentioned a build thread on the cage on page three (I think) but I can't find it. I really want to see under the tarp.

Didn't catch the build thread. Thats some quality work there! I know I don't have the talent, so I don't try. Thats why Carl is here.

And yes, NPORA is great for so many "really?" moments. But hey, since I've got one, I peruse.

Are the doors welded shut? (or "cage" welded to the doors...)

"gotta get d'm Dukes" style?

I wondered the same thing. There is a picture on the first thread that is closer up of the base of the pillars. It looks like the front and rear doors are actually capable of opening. I don't think that dude is getting in anything "Dukes of Hazard" style.

You read the rest of that thread? His fellow pathy friends were not very nice to him about it. They were all fighting like a bunch of high school girls
