Of recent movies I've seen, Black Christmas was a major piece of sh!t, even by slasher flick standards.

These go to 11
actually no, and there is a very good reason why.

TD could be a horrible movie, but it will never be possible to determine if it's worse than 2f2f. Reason being, anybody who actually saw #2 wouldn't have ever gone to see #3. And if you saw #3, you obviously never saw #2 or you wouldn't have wasted your time. So there is no way to offer an objective oppinion since no living soul could have seen them both.

pickin up what I'm throwin down here?

I smell what your steppin' in. I have never seen 1, 2 or 3. I tend to stay away from movies with numbers attached to the end.

well, there are no numbers attached to the ends of these movies, but they suck none the less.

What I don't understand is how you made it past #1 in the first place to determine that #2 sucked. #1 was poop.

But your logic explains why I haven't seen Spiderman 2, X-men 2, and won't see any other sequels.

Heat with De Niero and Pachino is still my top most $hitty movie of all time. They could have edited about 3/4 of the movie out (which it subsequently needed) and it still would have been 2.5 hours long.

I should kill you for dissing the Godfather. Seriously. -_-
you did see the 3 after godfather right? I am a godfather freak! but ask anybody that knows anything about that movie, it was a HUGE disappointment! what a horrible way to end such a great trilogy. PS. are you saying it's "time to hit the mattresses"

No, he's saying that you're going to "sleep with the fishes."

I do not understand why everyone pans Godfather 3 so hard. I enjoyed it.

But, I saw it for the first time years after it came out, and I didn't pay any attention to the almost universal criticism of it . . .

I wonder how many people dislike GF3 because THEY didn't like it, as opposed to hating it because a bunch of other people hated it, and they just went along with the flow.

Either way, I enjoyed it, and that's all that counts.

And for the record: Vin Diesel's finest moment was XXX.

Hoopty: I apologize. The numbers jumbled in my brain, I had been up for 2 days (on a crank-fueled bender! Holdin' up 7-11's, yeeeeeaaahhhH!!!) and I missed the "3".

The Godfather 3 is an affront to all that is decent. The acting is terrible, the plot ridiculous, and I hated it when it came out. I still hate it. It sucks. The over-the-top histrionics of nearly every actor involved, as well as the stellar performance from the director's dopey-faced daughter, make me ill.

and you are wrong about Vin Diesel's finest moment. XXX was beautifully cheesy, but his finest moment was The Chronicles of Riddick. My mom and I watched that and were puzzled for a while until we figured it out: it is a low B-movie shot with A-movie production. Magnificent dichotomy.

Wow, that's one of my favorites as well......I think that it had to be long to explain the entire story and how they come to respect each other.
