The Tacoma uses a 210mm gear and the 4 and 6 cyl 8" uses a 200mm. Can they still bolt to each other and be set up correctly? The newer 4Runner uses the same as the 8".
The non-locker Tacoma axle uses a larger ring gear than the E-locker. E-lockers use normal V6-style 8" gears. (which is why the 4cyl gears can also work)
Awesome. I am glad the stock front gears can be used, I had figured I would have had to switch the ring and pinion to a front, since it would be going in counter-rotation from what it was made for. And I am not entirely sure yet if I wanna keep my 4:10s or move up a litle bit to the 4:56s. I am already going to be doing my dual cases, and am still unsure if i wanna go that little more in the axles.
