WTF? Auto insurance/DMV bs, this sucks!

So I get some mail yesterday, finally open it over breakfast. This, from the DMV:

AAA has notified the (DL division) that your SR-22 insurance has been terminated. This reinstates the suspension of your driving privilege

WTF!!!

1. I never had SR22 insurance, for any reason whatsoever
2. none of the policy info I have for the AAA account we cancelled IN NOVEMBER says word one about SR22
3. My license was suspended in 1998 for excessive points (I had foot-lightening surgery, cost me.. like a grand in fines! :eek: :D), but NO SR22 stuff, EVER.

So, someone screwed up somewhere. Place your bets on:

1. my wife, if she signed me up for SR22 somehow (unlikely as hell)
2. AAA for misreporting something somewhere
3. the Driver License Division

Any way I cut this, it's going to be hours on the phone and a bunch of BS to fix.

*sigh. :D

SR 22 is way expensive so I doubt you got it by misktake. You shaved your beard, you can go out into the world now and handle this in person.
