Typically every other year I sleep and go to work. But that's when I'm deployed pretty much every other christmas like this one for the last 10 years. Other than that my wife and I have taken to making it a lazy day and continuing my family tradition of opening one present a piece from another family member.

Be as lazy as humanly possible!

There was a few years where I went clay shooting with some family members. That was a great time. Maybe I need to re-up that tradition.

Our Christmas eve is bigger than Christmas. All the kids, and now grand kids, come over around 10 for eggs Benedict and mormosas. Then we hang out, play games, have a great lunch, and play more games. Dinner is a sea food extravaganza, starting with 5 lbs of King Crab Legs, and includes lobster tails, shrimp, scollops and oh yeah, fillets. MMMMMmmmm, can't wait. After dinner we do our presents. It's a full day and always a great time. You'd think it would get old, but the kids love it and we look forward to all year.

Happy Holidays.

Depends on how much it snows. Maybe skiing, maybe sledding (ski-doo style) maybe clearing snow and last minute shopping. Then a fun family party at my cousin's. Older kids means no all-nighters putting stuff together.

Merry Christmas!

Is a mormosa a Mormon mimosa? ;)

X-mas eve at casa de Spaggy usually consists of over eating and watching Christmas movies.

Merry Christmas RME

Like Bart, we'll do our family Christmas today. The kids and a few close friends will be over around noon. Kiddos will open their presents, then we'll all feast on prime rib and crab. Been doing this exact thing for 30+ years now, makes Christmas day a lot less hectic.

Can I come over to your place today?

It looks like I'm hitting up Barts house for seafood, then hop on up to BCGPER's for some prime rib ;)

I will see you there!

This year, I plan on lots of snack foods, cheese, sausages and crackers for the kids to graze on Christmas Eve and Day. We do not plan on opening presents until Christmas morning this year as has been our tradition in years past. Depending on how the kiddos fare with their health we may go visit family in either Denver or SLC.

Merry Christmas to all of you and hopes for a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
