OK i have an 88 xj and just put a teraflex 4" long arm kit on. so the question is how long over stock should i be getting my brake lines? Not sure how far it will flex yet so hoping someone out there has the same thing and can give me an idea.

Depends on a number of things, including your shock length, and how far the upper arms will allow the axle to drop. That said, I would just head over to Tera and pick up the brake line set that they sell. Braided front lines, extra long (compared to stock.)

I'm sure Carl+ will be glad to help you out. :)

Well i was thinking i have EVCO two blocks from my house and teraflex 32 miles from my house and i know i can have them made up alot cheaper than what i will be paying for at teraflex. The instructions dont say anything about how much longer they need to be

Have you looked at relocating them? I would put on your lift with shocks and then see how much you need. I have about 4 inches on my XJ and just relocated the lines in front. I did put a longer one on back though.

Done! :) Talked to Carl and got my lengths so I ran to EVCO and now they are on the jeep YAY my pocket book is hurting a little but they work great and if anybody else is wondering they should be 24-26" on the front and 22-24 on the rear
