The one thread above the guy used conduit tubing to make his. Granted they would not take any type of weight but would be cheap to make and could be done at home. Worst case you would have to rent a conduit bender from home depot or someplace else.

Cruizin Illusions built a nice set as well, but his pics don't work and his thread is outdated. http://i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/timstock/100_3801.jpg They didn't really offer enough tire coverage, IMO, but they did incorporate plated fenders/quarters to beef up these areas so when contact with rock was made, the panel wouldn't buckle.
