I'm still lookin for my wife, too. I rode a 230 yesterday and it felt EXACTLY like her little xr200 with just a little more top end speed. kinda dissapointed me. so I'm thinking 250x with a lowering kit. My wife is 5'8 but she likes to put at least one foot flat on the ground with the other touching. she only weighs about 125 or so though. any 250x guys with input? is it mild enough to be able to putt around on? she's a becoming a decent rider. she rides the heck out of her xr200.

Well, last night I picked this up:

Let me say, it is awesome! Anyone considering a 230 class bike needs to test ride one of these first. I was riding wheelies in almost any gear (I'm 5'10" and 215 lbs) and my 17y.o. sister gave it a bit too much gas and ripped the rear fender off! :D:D It has a ton of power and is a blast to ride! I never would have believed a 150 thumper could have that kind of power! Very smooth and predictable with no "hit" at all once warmed up. Highly recomended. I will update after my wife has a chance to ride it.

I guess I will have to wait to buy the 150r for my 10 year old son. The 250x will not perform any thing like that, geared way to low

You are welcome to come by and take it for a spin if you like-but I warn you, once you do you will want one for yourself just to play on! :D:D

PM me if interested.
