Had a great ride with great people this morning.

If looks could kill, we would have been dead and burried multiple times over from the hikers and Mtn bikers on the trail. Only had 2 people tell us we couldn't be there, but neither was willing to see our proof we were 100% on a motorized trail.

My back is still sore from the daggers.

Ironically, those higher in the canyon (harder hike/bike) were significantly friendlier. One may assume the opposite. For example, those trail runners at the top of North Fork were splendid. Bountiful B and Ward Canyon were moto friendly as you would imagine :D

I grew up near North Canyon. When in Jr. High I hiked and camped all over in that area, long before there was an improved trail. My favorite spot was Rudy's Flat.

That's exactly where that photo of from. We chilled there for a bit. Gorgeous area.

That area very much reminds me of Corner Canyon growing up, access right from the neighborhoods which is a blessing and curse.

I can certainly recognize the prensure these trails are under.

The MTB pages on Facebook see several posts a month from users wanting to know who to report moto traffic on those trails to. It's funny because Trailforks and MTB Project are both pretty clear, those trails are open to motorized traffic.

I pedal biked Mueller last year or the year before. That was when I learned that motorized bicycles were allowed. no issues from me. cool that there is access that close to the city. but after the stink eyes we got on our MTBs from the hikers and hearing the vitriol coming out of their mouths about the dirt bikes that could be heard in the distance behind us, I haven't been back.
