I like that a lot.

I sucked a valve in an old dirt bike I had in high school and used the piston as my 4x4 shift lever in my old ford.

I've got a couple old sled pistons that I'm planning on using as shift knobs in my trucks. I just need to find appropriately sized heim joints to attach them.

Gunner and I took a little hike on Poison Spider today. We were targeting Longarm arch. Unfortunately with the vast amounts of cacti out there I was super concerned that he would step on one. Thus, we opted just to hike along the Jeep trail. He’s an old man so we didn’t really go too far before we turned around. Here’s my lunch break photos.

The bump stops aren’t even aligned on the passenger side. It would take more than one to get them to touch. I’ll see how it goes when I get out on the trails.
