Bummer, I was mostly being selfish in wanting something new to watch/listen while workingYeah no
I’ve been very fortunate to be involved in previous and upcoming production including XO, Toyota events, etc. I’m honestly not looking for any more of those at this time. I think some of the things I love about doing these recoveries, is practicing my skill sets, using my time/gear for the betterment of others and at best we take a couple photos. No waiting for a drone to get a shot, no dropping off cameramen, no making decisions based on production schedule or timing. XOverland is very authentic, we don’t force anything we wouldn’t otherwise do and we don’t pretend to do anything that didn’t really happen. That said it takes sometimes two and three times as long to go any place when you’re trying to capture it for film.
But Matt and Rory are putting out some fun content and I’m glad to see them succeeding.
Now days I find myself reaching less for the camera when out enjoying something and just taking it in instead of trying to line up a shot, especially when it's with family.
