ZJ adj trackbar question

When liftin a ZJ once you get over 4" it is risky whether you will need a new trackbar or not. I wasn't going to worry about getting one right quick but I put a post up on JU and someone replied. He offered a RE Extreme duty adj. front trackbar and bracket for $150 (shipped form NC). He siad that they sold new for $210, and that they were on his rig for 4 months. He said that he will email pics so I'll post them when I get them.

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

I can't say for sure that you'll "need" the trac bar but it deffinately can't hurt. Sounds like an OK deal. You can get a new Currie one for 30 bucks more and its mo' betta'

I've heard that the ends on the RE bars tend to wear out rather quickly, but it might be just a rumor. For $30 more I would probably go with the Currie one like Grocery Getter said.

I have a 3-1/2" Teraflex lift on my wife's '96 GC and the stock trac bar seems to work fine.

Whatever you say. Some kid e-mailed me and said that he has an extra stock trackbar for sale if I wanted to put the 2 together to add length. WTF??
