I'm going to catch fire here, but when there is a riotous storming of the capital, it's "staged" for the media and clearly a conspiracy. When something like this happens, of course it's clearly not staged.

Just sayin.
You're not wrong. It's a possibility.

I keep hearing the argument that we need to fix the immigration process before we prevent illegal border crossings. I agree they are both issues, but they are separate issues. FIRST prevent the illegal crossings (very quick process), THEN fix the immigration system (much longer process).
You have to recognize that the two problems are related- a very direct cause and effect.

You are never going to solve one aspect while ignoring the other.

It will be impossible to ever 100% stop illegal crossings, visa overstays and other forms of illegal immigration. While those need to be addressed, waiting for completely secured borders before addressing reform is an excuse to do nothing.

If I really say what I want to here I would probably get in trouble with the mods.

Your train of thought is so out of whack. Our current immigration laws have nothing to do with 10k plus person per day invasion going on. Border law is different than immigration But you want to think they are 2 in the same. I know you have a personal bias towards it and that is fine. People overstaying visas etc is not anywhere near what a normal thinking human would say is an invasion. The current administration in the campaign said they were not going to enforce border law. What is going on now has nothing g to do with legal immigration.

I will take the opposite angle and say it takes deliberate blinders to not see a connection between legal and illegal immigration.

Nor is it justifying the chaos at the border to say both need to be addressed if any real solution is to be found.

This is far beyond illegal immigration......this is an invasion of our borders

I don't have blinders on.....you have a bias due to personal reasons......which is your freedom since you live in America......but this invasion is going to turn inner cities into the 3rd world shit holes they all left. The big difference is, DC democrats want to throw all kinds of money at them to support their life so that hopefully they can pass some type of blanket amnesty down the road since they will have kids who get birthright citizenship. Get rid of birthright citizenship and then we have a whole different scenario.

No clue what bias you are assuming I have other than seeing the immigration issue with more humanity than fear.
i have no fear of immigration when it is done legally and those that are coming across our border are being vetted. My unsourced math is telling me that more than 90% of these 10 million plus illegals have not been vetted. That number should concern anybody. If the majority of these people are good people, then take 10 of them into your house with your grandchildren. The only caveat is that you don’t get to know anything about them. You don’t get to choose them or what country they came from and you can’t ask any questions of them until their immigration hearing 10 years from now.

So humanity is not supporting US border law? What other laws should we ignore in the vain of humanity? I mean a pedophile is attracted to minors instead of a consenting adult, a child abuser only has anger issues so we should let them slide on those also. It’s only a law and it is not humane to punish them for breaking those laws Or for coming into this country illegally.

I am actually starting to find humor in this clown show

I've seen people post this catch on other xenforo based forums but I've never seen it here. I think it's part of the software making sure you meant to click something in the mobile UI, nothing related to the sensitivity or whatever of a post. I'll have to look into it.

We do not employ any kind of software that purposely does this, in fact we don't even use google analytics because it's invasive to users. The only time a 3rd party tracker "might" load is if it's an embedded instagram or facebook post, but that comes from them not us.

I just can't believe how attention starved those people are that are willing to try to direct some of the spotlight to themselves by creating such sensationalized takes, and how irresponsible that is knowing full well many stupid people are out there that would take that as face value.

How long before Trump chimes in and blames the Italian controlled Jewish engineered and Israeli funded space lasers were to blame?

Well this is every tragedy now. How quickly do democrats jump in after a “mass shooting” to promote themselves and their agenda.
This isn’t contained to only one side.

It baffles me how quick both sides are to jump to their "talking points" for EVERYTHING. It is ridiculous.

There are all kinds of reasons a ship can lose power and cause this horrible outcome. Jumping to blaming DEI, immigration, COVID, etc is just ridiculous, grandstanding. It should turn off every one of us. However, it really does rile up the extreme base on either side.

I know both sides do this and I am saying as much. This is just an immediate example that happens to be the R's grandstanding and placing blame with no facts.
