Is it ok to have a "make light of" thread?

I think XJ owners are the only breed worse than samurai owners.

That thing wouldn’t be worth $4,000, even if it wasn’t rolled, flopped, and chopped.
$4k if it was in decent shape would actually be pretty easy to fetch as they’ve been selling for high prices for the last few years. I’ve been waiting for them to come back down but it hasn’t really happened. I just want to give all of them the safe, loving home that they deserve.

I picked up my son’s XJ for 3.5k last year and I’ve pretty much rebuilt the damn thing by now. But he just took off to live in Colorado for a while. I hope he watched real close on how to fix everything.

I wish I only paid $500. 😂

Oh yeah I love XJ’s but they’re not the easiest vehicles to own.

Hot damn! This thread was made for this. A "$100,000 buggy" for $3,500, somebody better jump on this. The more you look the more there is to think about (just cycle through the pics for 5min) ha. No passenger, coils on trailing arms (with wild lever arm), angle iron shock hoops, start of the cage is scary, maybe I'm missing it but I don't see springs up front, keg is fuel I'm guessing (solid capacity/range ha) but there is also a fuel can (part of me hopes the keg is just intended to be a trail beer keg), etc. Dude had fun, I hope he gets his asking price. That wrecker/hauler though in the background is pretty sweet.
