What's got me the worst lately is my eyesight. My eyes (while bad) have been consistent my whole adult life, same prescription. Nowadays I need readers, or to hold stuff at arms length, or my favorite, really close with not glasses.

Just how easy it is to just DGAF now. And seeing the babies grow up get married and have babies. And not having any clue WTF you guys are talking about. Like having to Google grinder and shit like that. Shooting worse every year.

It’s the slow stand up to let the back settle for me.
And I’ve started watching tv on the couch.
And I’m not looking forward to hanging drywall with my brothers on Friday. That used to be fun times.

Kids for sure. Certain moments you see them doing something and realize how big or old they have gotten and you just can't believe it's been that long. Seems like I was doing those things just yesterday.

But... that statistic is said on the same radio that I hear ads for politicians telling me that they will be responsible with my money and care about me... so I don't believe it.

When I worked for the Sheriff’s Office we would fight each other to get time off for the various hunts. I knew I was old when the new kids were fighting to get time off for ComiCon. 
I’ve excepted the fact I’m old because I don’t want to remove the running boards from the Jimmy. When I was younger they would’ve been removed before it even got on the trailer.

Ok, I looked it up. Just like any other statistic, you can get any answer you want by changing the variable a little. I found sources showing between 5.7%-70.4%

I went to a friends wedding a couple weeks ago. All my friends that I had not seen in years were old. I’m still like 27 in my mind
I feel younger already. I tell people I'm 25... in my mind.
I had kids really young so even though I am young myself my oldest just started high school and that one really made me feel old.
