And then reinstated with the next Democrat president.
We are all just pawns in their game.
I'm hoping for Trump 2.0 in 4 years... JD Vance for 8 more years at that point.
And then reinstated with the next Democrat president.
We are all just pawns in their game.
With the Senate and maybe the house this could get done the right way and make it way more difficult to reverse.
I read 1984 as in Jr. High and High school. I read it again about 4 years ago and it was A) full of more sexual content than I remember and B) more terrifyingly applicable than ever.I was strongly encouraged to read 1984 in grade school. A little over my head but I reread it again in high school. Probably due for a re-read? Interesting and scary thoughts are presented there. More accurate and plausible than I ever thought possible
This country isn't ever coming back together. Big war would make it seem so while it lasted. Unless of course it was a civil war.
People are legitimately too far apart to ever come together though.

This is the part I disagree with
People aren't as far apart as they think. The biggest issue is that no one is willing to listen or debate/argue anymore. I mean, look at the political witch hunt of almost every politician that reaches across the aisle. They get crucified and villianized by their own party...all because a radical few have made it so.
Absurd! And as @J-mobzz said I 100% am not a trumper, but I voted for him because not Harris.
At least Trump was actually voted for in the primary, and not installed. But I believe the path the Democratic Party is on far more resembles a dictatorship. As much as the two party system sucks, still better than the one party system like the dems trying to make the rest of the country emulate California.
And I’d love to see your sources on this garbage. He states often that they will shut themselves down because nobody trusts them anymore. 🙄Not to mention Trump campaign threats to jail journalists and shutdown media companies for negative coverage
Yeah…….and the democrats have been pillars of working across the aisle during that same time. Politicians bash each other in the public eye and enjoy a great dinner and drinks together with K street lobbyists.Prior to the "Tea Party" Republicans, the idea of working across the aisle was something to be proud of, now especially among the GOP it is seen as treason.
If anyone is wondering, this is my Christmas wish.Edit:
Maybe Trump will drop the Epstein list at the same time as they release the Kennedy assassination files and we can see 90% of the DC elite scurry like cockroaches when a light is turned on.

That is exactly what I said- recess appointments avoid Senate confirmation pure and simple.
"Article 2, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution gives the president the power to “appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States,” but they have to do so “by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate.”That is exactly what I said- recess appointments avoid Senate confirmation pure and simple.
Thank you for documenting my point.
Here are a few direct quotes of Trump. And I’d love to see your sources on this garbage. He states often that they will shut themselves down because nobody trusts them anymore. 🙄
"Article 2, Section 2, Clause 2 of the Constitution gives the president the power to “appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States,” but they have to do so “by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate.”
The following clause, Article 2, Section 2, Clause 3, however, grants presidents the ability “to make temporary appointments when the Senate is not in session,” according to an annotation of the Constitution. These appointments can stay in place for up to two years."
So, he's following the constitution, that's your claim?
How does that compare to deliberately seeking a presidential candidate that is mentally compromised so you can run things from the shadows? Joe Biden's campaign page during the 2020 election said he would ban assault weapons and make it illegal to posses a firearm in your own home unless it was locked up. Both of those things are strictly prohibited by the constitution. So where is your outrage about a presidential candidate saying he will violate the constitution there? The idea of recess appointments is to temporarily fill a position when time if critical and the Senate is on recess.
To deliberately seek Senate leadership that will help him bypass Senate confirmation may (or as courts have ruled in the past may not) be textually legal, it certainly violates the meaning of the Constitution and role of the Senate.

Kamala said she would have federal agents go into your home and ensure you had your guns locked up, violating the 2nd and 5th amendments, is that acceptable?
So you agree with those things or you don't take them seriously? you can't play both sides. I just assume they are not serious because they are politicians telling their constituents lies to get support. The proof is in their actions. Kamala/Biden and Trump were both in office, what did they actually do when they had the power to?
