I’ve had plastic “racing” seats in said Jeep for about a decade. I actually just replaced one with the same plastic seat and didn’t upgrade. So I’m right there with ya, bro 🤣

How are stock sxs seats? I’m looking for something cheap and easy to put in the back of my XJ buggy thing. I made mounts for car seats but my kids are growing and a more permanent-ish solution would be cool. Info I’m looking for are if the mounts are decent, if the seats are sturdy etc etc...
