Loose bearing could do that, but from your description it's sounding more like bent spindle/axle. Put it back together and measure and make an appointment.

She got a 2013 Outback 2.5i and has LOVED it. Zero issues. She'll be getting another one later this year, she's at 64,000 and we have an 80,000 mile warranty. Placebo or not, she feels a lot more confident and safe in it than previous cars. Blizzaks help (she did get "stuck" once this winter...

Skyline drive? Head down to Joe's Valley, up to Skyline and work your way north (or south). Not a lot of wheelin', but scenic with the fall colors. Head to Goblin Valley and then go north through the Swell on the way home. Capitol Reef is cool. ExpeditionUtah.com has some good write ups...
