Check to make sure it's not leaking out from something on the top/back of the engine and sneaking around to make you think it's the rear main.

Need help Planning for a "Swell" Trip

Good advice on the route. Goblin Valley is very popular with my kids and the scouts. Great place for capture the flag too. Your Rover could likely do the Eva Conover - South Coal - North Coal - Devil's Racetrack - Eagle Canyon loop that we did last weekend. Maybe substitute Fix It Pass for...

Mine is worthless when it is really needed, ie, when one tire truly has no traction. If both have _some_ traction, then both will hook up. I've thought many times about putting an E-locker or something back there. Usually, I just chain up. Come to think of it, it's only ever been worthless...

I don't think I'd touch TTB with a 10' pole. BTDT with my '85 Bronco. Yuck. How do the UJ 6" springs compare to the f*rd U, V & X code front springs? Same length? Springs rates? When you refer to 6" lift, what is that relative to? Stock 2wd van height? Do those springs work on the SD/X...

Also, I don't know the bolt pattern of your 60s, but the SD/X axles are 8 on 170mm.

Are you lifting it more? or will that keep it the same height? I can't imagine lifting it more, especially if you are towing. (reposted below from your axle thread) Excursion were D50 only, as were I think the F250s, so you are looking for F350 for the front. My '02 X has the 10.5" sterling...

    Rzr or jeep

I just spent a day in a 4seat RZR and had a blast, but it's not the same as my jeep. You can go faster, and it is super smooth. Very capable. However, my jeep has more power and is a different kind of fun. The RZR was so big though that we couldn't go on the 50" ATV trails. If I were to get...

Vehicles that can carry 3 car seats and gear?

'13 or newer F150 Supercrew would work for that (maybe '12? Not sure which year the back seats got more legroom)

The second I sell mine to you a nice open 4.10 will drop into my lap for $50 and then I won't have anything to put on my blazer.

    Ford Raptor Thoughts

Good choice. That's what I'd do, if I didn't have one for work. Raptor is cool, but Eco-crew gets the job done. Put on 35s if you really need them, but 275/65r18s worked great for 4 years. I'll put 285s on the new one once the 265s wear out.
