Again, I couldn't agree more. I was just intrigued with your comment about installing bags and using a 5th wheel.

I agree with your philosophy. The question was more of clarification than intent, so that I understood your perspective. So you'd use a gooseneck with that truck? How heavy would you go with a gooseneck?

Third try, token had expired. This time I'll copy before I hit reply. Wow, you nailed it. I took it for a test drive and the Ecoboost Supercrew is no Excursion (at least not a Davis modded X). Great power, but just doesn't have the mass or suspension to handle a heavier trailer...

This was on my laptop. I gave up on my phone; it doesn't even give me an option.

Still won't let me upload files. I click "add files" then I select the file. Then when I hit "upload files" it does nothing. Any advice?

WHAT???? :eek2::eek2: REFUND! I'm just hauling one rig on this trip, but the rig plus the trailer is approx 9000 lbs. I'd guess with stuff in your boat plus people and gear that you are getting close to 7000 or 8000 lbs equivalent. The neat thing about the Ecoboost is that since it...

I know, I wonder how it would like 12,000lbs of bumper pull with 2 jeeps? The interweb tells me no, but I have to say, I've loved driving a work Supercrew the last few years and mainly keep the X for towing, scouts, cabin and family adventures, and the Supercrew worked great for the last two.

Your boat is 9,000lbs? Nice boat! The interWeb says FJ80 curb is about 4700 lbs, my jeep is 5000. Trailer + load will be just shy of 9,000lbs. Truck will have 2 people and overnight luggage. I'll have a pretty good back to back comparison towing this with the eb and then in 3 weeks...

My hunch is that because it has cruise control and no EGT gauge, it will do fine. :D

It made it to Draper. Adam took a pic with it loaded. So did I but my phone won't let me include it here. See you Tuesday evening.

Adam will be there at 5, does that work? Hahaha, just barely saw that about stealing your trailer. Probably just use my trailer. Makes it all less complicated. I typically just use a 2nd vehicle to drag the dead one on the trailer. This winch thing will be nice.

I put your new one in, deleted the old one, "saved" and sent it. When I just looked, it was just the old one so I started over. Looking forward to seeing how the Ecoboost does.

Either way, I guess we'll load up Sunday afternoon after 5, according to Adam.

It's the 26' 14,000lb I haul both jeeps on. On my phone or I'd post a pic. I thought a trailer and loading party was all lined up? I didn't mean to screw anything up, I just happen to be driving through there anyway. Either way, I'm good.

It's on. I'll be driving an Ecoboost F150. My trailer empty is 3900 lbs, so adding 6000lbs of non-running Cruiser fury puts the total close to 10,000, which is ok but a 1500lb trailer would be better.
