I've got videos of some failures there too, a number of people got tired landed bad then wrecked or set themselves up poorly for the rock section. Through the mud seemed the safe bet for me and I had no problems all day. I think instead of finesse: guys were rushing that whole section.

A little predawn moto in Warner Valley yesterday. We did 30 miles. She liked it pretty well and the clutch weight and tire were very helpful. She was lots lots faster through the rough. She still might benefit from a Rekluse in the more technical stuff I took her in but we'll see how she does...

Been a minute since I've hand lapped valves. Usually the stuff I work with is all fancy coated and has to be valve matched on machine. Working with old tech is kinda fun. ...let's see if it holds water 😉
