What books are you reading (or listening to?)

Cool. I got an iPad over the summer and have been doing a bunch of ebooks. Are you planning to be at the museum this week at all? That's easy access for me and work but I can come wherever. I'll holler at you tomorrow.

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

I'm waiting on #4 through the library. It's like 3 weeks out along with the other books I'm in line for unfortunately.

What books are you reading (or listening to?)

I finished "All the Shahs Men" yesterday. It's about Iran from about 1920-1959 when the Brits were pillaging the oil there and the steps they took to keep that from changing. It also goes into the CIAs work to overthrough the prime minister and give control back to the shah and the wests...

    Nate’s longterm tiny shop build

They are at the gym. Try again later. Then they'll be at the grocery store. Later they have a meeting about how to better handle cats. The best time to call the fire department is between 10:35 and 10:41 on Tuesday.

    Pellet Smokers; Dumping the Traeger

Yoder doesn’t have an easy ash clean out. You have to take the grates out and vacuum it. I don’t do that very often. I don’t use it a ton but it’s awesome when I do use it. I tricked Carl and Dave into helping me get it moved onto my deck when I first bought it. It’s crazy heavy. To me, it’s a...

    What are you watching?

I need to read some le Carre. They didn’t have color tv in ‘79 did they? I don’t watch shows in black and white. Sorry. 🙄

    What are you watching?

Slow Horses on Apple TV. Its hilarious. If you have ATV but haven't watched it, do it. The new season just started but I decided to re-watch season 2 first. I'm only in a couple episodes but I'm sitting here smiling ear to ear and chuckling every few minutes. Gary Oldman is a dirty old...

    Tesla Truck (Cybertruck)

Just watching a review from MKBDH and hes showing the steering wheel but the big thing there is how little it actually rotates (lock to lock) because of the rear axle steer.

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I insulated the garage myself during construction so it doesn't really ever get below 50*. I do have a garage gas heater though that I can turn on. I rarely use it though because of how warm the garage seems to stay. Especially with the salt tank right up next to the house I feel like there...

What did you work on Today; Home Edition

I only have to fill my salt tank twice a year and the plumbers put it in the garage so its super easy to access and I don't have to get it to the basement like I did at the last house.

    Pi-Hole vs. AdGuard Home

I literally did a clean install yesterday on a pi at work and brought it home to set up. I messed around with it for a while and broke my WiFi trying to add it as the dns. I gave up after getting the WiFi back working. The meds wore off and everything was a struggle. I did have adds blocked...

    Sprinter Race rig

What's the drive like with fuel and whatnot in the passenger compartment? I drove with MFC's in the back of my cruiser that sealed well but I don't know anything about moto fuel containers. I also recognize that moto guys are weird and maybe its like cologne for you.

What is the best way to cook a turkey and why is it smoking?

False, the best way to cook a turkey is to make a ham. Or brisket.

    Permanent Christmas lights

I don't mind getting on the roof and doing it, it comes down to a $$$ question to me. Seems like when I think about ordering bulk cord for them I go and look and I don't want to spend the money at the time, or, I don't feel like I can. The cord is cheap. The individual bulbs are expensive...

    Permanent Christmas lights

4\8 houses in my circle have them. Sounds like the 5th is going to happen soon. I'd rather have concrete than Christmas lights on the house all year. But I don't have the money for that either. My DIY set up worked just okay. I was lazy and didn't pull them down for 3 years so the white pvc...
