    The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

This is the most impressive Rhino Rally start video I've seen. Really talented drone footage! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1148958819604660?mibextid=xCPwDs

Welp. I like it. It rubs some but I'll address that later.

Trail distance increases yes. Also you're assuming the spindle and contact patch centerline is dead centerline to the BJs. Usually it isn't. Any change in tire size and backspacing moves that distance from contact patch centerline to ball joint centerline point in both the x and y axis. "Trail...

Okay I feel completely silly but these tires are 245 75 17s. They look freaking rad we'll see how much they rub 😂 I went with the narrower ones up front to hopefully preserve ball joints (I'm actually not worried about the uppers since the RRO ones use an Escalade ball joint) and keep the rub...

    Your Pic of The Day

Ooof. I did that with a 700r4. In that orange V8 YJ. K case was the fix for me. (A better rear trans mount and tcase mount as well) My wife helped me swap it in a gravel parking lot our first year of marriage. That's how I knew she was going to hang around.

Corban you're right on the money. I didn't see your post on trail until after I did this rudimentary screen draw lol. Anyways my observation is that every time I've changed a tire size up on my vehicles I shoot for a little less measured caster because that trail angle increases. And too much...

    Gravy's 2005 Liberty Renegade

That's where I've been mistaken. I understood all of that: I just incorrectly labeled KPI as the angle created between your the imaginary castor line drawn up continuous from upper and lower bj and up from contact patch center point to that imaginary intersection point. I can't for the life of...

No. Strictly daily driver. It's such a short WB it would be no bueno. If I fell into an OX cable locker or ARB I'd add one.

Looking for 245/75r17 or similar size. I think 265/75r17 series is too tall and too wide. But yeah post a picture of what you got!

    Gravy's 2005 Liberty Renegade

Correct me if I'm wrong but KPI is determined by comparing the center of contact patch to were the center line of the ball joints would hit the ground (caster angle). As that distance (scrub radius) increases -that upper angle that I've labeled KPI increases. (Scrub radius can also be affected...

    The upcoming moto ride/quick report.

Rhino Rally was good to me and Stac, we both got podium finishes. She ran 4th through the banners, got up to second and dumped it maybe a mile from the finish but held onto 3rd. I ran 1st start to finish. Stupid 50s 😂 Pretty sure the kickstart return spring broke. So I got to see how good...

Better camber numbers. Honestly I wish I could just run their machine for them. But it drives much better now without pulling hard right. I'll live with the 3.0° caster as I believe a taller tire will give me a bigger KPI so I tend to shoot for a tiny bit less caster.

Mocked up the tires from Josh. These tires might be too big. I'll try them out. Not too pleased with the alignment specs. They said they ran out of adjustment on the LCA cam bolts but when I stuck my head under there: the cams had another 90° left to turn. It'll go back today.

Rocky Road Outfitters upper control arm install. Old vs. New Daystar extended bumpstops are on order. Also you can see how the upper arm contacts the control arm mounting pockets at full droop now (in this photo below.) You take a die grinder to the control arm pockets to clearance them...

Currently finishing "The Last Battle" the culmination of "The Chronicles of Narnia" series with my boys. Narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart! What A Treat!

Bureau of Land “Management” going after the swell now

It doesn't change anything but I got a ticket for expired ohv registration today. "Mayest I have the Lord's permission to useth the Lord's land?" DNR does absolutely nothing with their pirated money in that area and he was generally a cool guy but it almost boiled my blood to hear him...
