    H1 beadlocks

Thanks Mbryson, did you make the drag link and tie rod, if so, out of what? Does the hi steer effect the king pin? Exalted: I think I'll do the rebar, seems like good insurance at least. I hate trying to find stuff on Pirate, there is sooo much I never seem to find the specific answers I need.

    Rental Jeeps in Moab

Renting isn't a bad option. If you want a Rubi, your choices are Farabees (JKs) or Cliffhanger (TJs). Just be careful which trails you go on, I don't think they allow a 4 or higher. Get your reservation in early!

    H1 beadlocks

I need some info about H1 duel beadlocks. I have heard they may rub on my steering arm of my new 60/14 combo because of the 7" backspacing. Is this true, and if so what is the best remedy? I have thought about recentering them, but can you do that with the 12 bolt version, which is what I'm...

    Who mounts your beadlocks?

Chips in Moab is the only tire store I've heard of who will touch beadlocks. $25 each to mount and balance.

    Axel Mods / YJ

If you're only planning to run 35s, I wouldn't go 60/14. Seems way overkill to me. Don't waste your time/money on a posi, get a real locker.

What would be your 'guilty pleasure' 4WD vehicle?

If I had the money, I'd get an 05-06 LJ Rubicon, RE long arm, 35s and call it good. I'd use it for a moderate wheeler/expedition vehicle/daily driver. Simple, proven, and realistic ;)!!

    A must read!!

I finally had time to watch this guys video, but I'm not quite sure what his point is. Yes both sides are trying to manipulate the "facts", what's so shocking about that, it happens with every issue out there.

    Axle width

Thanks for the meaningful comments. How hard/practical would it be to add drive over fenders to a "normal" trailer?

    Axle width

Hey smarta$$, next time read the post before you comment. I don't have all the stuff yet which is why I am guessing what the anticipated width will be. Also I had a car hauler which was 76" wide, so wrong on that one too genius  Anybody have any useful comments?

    Axle width

My brother n law and I are hoping to buy a tandem axle trailer together, and I'm trying to figure out how wide I would need it to be with my new axles under my CJ. I know all the numbers, just not sure how to put them all together to get an outside of tire to outside of tire width. Here's my...
